Is pyIDE v2.0 available to download?
No. pyIDE v2.0 is still in development and no public download is available yet.
Which version can I download now?
The legacy Python and PySide6 release is the downloadable version.
Does the AI assistant have unlimited computer access?
No. It is designed around user permission, active-project scope, and pyIDE-controlled tools.
Can pyIDE build EXE files?
The legacy version includes a helper around PyInstaller. PyInstaller must be installed in the selected Python environment.
