Choose the right export
| Export | Use it when | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Readable TXT report | You want one file that is easy to open, skim, and attach to a support message. | A structured text report with metadata, the issue description, captured outputs, and a manifest. |
| Complete ZIP package | A technician wants the main report and the individual capture files. | A ZIP file containing the readable report, separate read-only captures, and a package manifest. |
Before generating a report
- Confirm that the correct device is connected and authorized.
- Write a concise issue description with symptoms, timing, and recent changes.
- Leave privacy redaction enabled unless a trusted technician specifically needs full identifiers.
- Choose a save location you can find later.
What the scan gathers
The prototype runs read-only ADB queries for device properties, battery, thermal-service output, storage, connectivity, telephony registry, installed packages, and recent Logcat messages. Some Android builds expose more information than others.
What the scan does not do
- It does not factory-reset the device.
- It does not flash firmware.
- It does not unlock the bootloader.
- It does not copy personal folders as part of the diagnostic report.
- It does not promise that every hardware or firmware problem can be identified.
Issue-description example
The phone began restarting after a recent system update. Mobile service drops intermittently. Opening apps or placing calls may trigger another restart. The phone also becomes unusually warm during normal use.
