ADB executable not found
- Open Settings & About.
- Browse to a valid
adb.exefrom Android SDK Platform Tools. - Confirm that the selected file exists and is not blocked by antivirus or Windows security controls.
- Return to the dashboard and refresh the environment.
Device does not appear
- Confirm that the cable supports data transfer.
- Try another USB port.
- Unlock the phone.
- Confirm that USB debugging is enabled.
- Check whether Windows needs a device-specific USB driver.
- Avoid unreliable USB hubs during troubleshooting.
Device appears as unauthorized
- Unlock the device and look for the USB-debugging approval prompt.
- Approve only the PC you recognize.
- Reconnect the cable if the prompt does not appear.
- Use the phone's developer-options controls to revoke USB-debugging authorizations only when necessary, then reconnect and approve again.
Device appears offline
- Disconnect and reconnect the cable.
- Restart the ADB server or relaunch SAD-B-D-M-T.
- Try a different cable or USB port.
- Restart Android normally when appropriate.
Backup stops partway through
- Keep the phone unlocked and connected.
- Retry one folder at a time.
- Copy the most important folders first.
- Watch for phone restarts, cable movement, or Windows USB disconnect sounds.
Report contains limited information
Android versions and manufacturers expose different information through ADB. A limited field does not automatically mean the program failed. The report is a support aid, not a guaranteed diagnosis.
